Immediately after finishing school, Capes worked as being a coalman and agricultural laborer, contributing to his Actual physical energy and endurance. In 1970, he joined the Cambridgeshire Constabulary, laying the inspiration for his long term athletic endeavors. As well as his coaching endeavor
